I ride down that way a lot. I'll do 200+ miles a day and be home by mid afternoon. What kind of places are you looking for? I don't do the bar hopping thing, so I couldn't tell you where they are. There are some grill type places on SR 64 and SR 70, plus a few out east that I see bikes at quite often. I like riding down there because the traffic doesn't suck like it does here in Pinellas County. The roads are flat and pretty straight, but there isn't a red light every 50 feet.

 

Peggy's Corral, just south of the Skyway Bridge on Sundays. I get out of Pinellas as often as possible but usually head North to Pasco, Hernando, Counties and Ocala National Park,Floral City, Cedar Key, Mt. Dora, Welaka etc...Anywhere but Pinellas ( AKA Traffic Hell)lol.

Hi Peter, I live in southern Hillsborough county just a few mile from the Manatee county line and I'm open to meet up and ride with who ever is in the area.

 

Great area to start a ride. Take 64 or 70 eastward and pick where you want to go, Sebring, Lake Placid, Lake Wales (Scenic 17 Hwy).

 

Maybe we can set up a west central ride here soon? We take a day ride to the Sebring Diner for lunch every so often. We will switch between north and south for a change of scenery. Anywhere but Pinellas County works for me. We go to Citrus, Hernando, and Pasco to the north and Manatee, Polk, Hardee, and Desoto to the south.

Us southern crew will meet at the Sebring Diner. Just announce a crew ride!!
