Default OK...not good at co-ordinating.

I got my bike back yesterday. Had the passenger back rest replaced today.
I am wanting to ride from Daytona to Eau Gallie this next Saturday. Restaurant
destination is called Grills.
I figure.....easy non hurry ride....hour and 45 minutes...maybe a little PLUS?
If I (we) leave Daytona 10:30 ish...get there about noon. If Barbara is with me, we will sit inside.
Barbara absent...I will be outside (or in, whatever).
I will dig out a FL CREW hat to wear, and have one of those FAMILY walkie talkies on channel 19.
On the negative side, if Barbara is not feeling good enough for me to leave her...I will BEG OUT of this ride.
The destination is good enough for anyone else to continue. My plan was from Daytona, down to just below
Titusville. Turn left at Riverside and ride down to the traffic light at 528 (?)....turn left to Merritt Island,
and get ready for a quick right turn onto Tropical Trail. Go until a stop sign.....turn right. Ride until road
ends....(you have to cross a bridge). Turn left and ride until the road ends (Patrick Air Force Police will let you
know if you have gone TOO far). Go across the bridges....turn right on US1.....Grills about 1/4 mile North on US 1.

That is my plan. Hope I can make it. May see some of you.

Significant others always trump friends. Do what is best for Barbara. She will be better one day and then the friends can ride.

Godspeed to Barbara!

Anyone wanting to ride along, I will leave my house at 10:30. If you want to meet in Daytona or somewhere along the way, say so.
I will take US 1 South and usually take I-95 back.

Sounds interesting. I was gonna change the fluids on my bike on Saturday for my trip to the mountains next week, but I can do that on Sunday.
Whats good on the menu at Grills? Besides Landshark

When I rode with you in the past, we met at a theater or bowling alley. I don't remember which....I don't remember where it was either, because I was following JaxHarleyRider. Post a landmark and a time to meet and I will be there.

If anyone is interested, I have been on a ride similar to this with TheMensch. The streets are shady and Tropical trail is one nice road to ride!

Just South of Daytona Beach....is a town called South Daytona. Across from the Honda dealer (Walkers) is Sunshine Mall. Coming from the north, if you are on the interstate, get off on
sr400 (beville rd.). Ride to US 1 (Ridgewood Blvd) and turn right (south). If I leave my house at 10:30, I should be there about 10:50. If coming down US1...you will pass SR400
and see a sign welcoming you to South Daytona. Shopping center will be on your right. ANyone one else interested, post up.

Glad to see that you are able to get out and ride again Chuck. Hoping the best for Barbara. Taking care of her is priority.

Toasty? Barbara said my cheeks were red....and I hadn't my shorts down to my knees yet.
She was happy my FIRST ride was a success. Thanks Jerry, for making the trip. Wasn't a short hall for you.
Me? I would have rode anyhow, but you made it fun.
I am going to plan a ride to Charleston, SC to see the first submarine to sink a ship...the CSS Hunley.
I don't know..but may be an over nighter for me. Anyone interested in history or just the ride....THINK up.
May be end of November.
