I noticed this week they have a upright glass door cooler, full of beer and wine, salesman said its help yourself. I've never seen a business do this, especially one that sales motor vehicles.
Brandon has the same thing. They've been doing it for a while now. Free hot dogs and burgers on Sat & Sun too. The only reason I go there is for free stuff.
Also, Brandon HD has redesigned it's showroom. Instead of having a cashier island in the center, it looks like you now walk to the side where people stand behind an elevated counter slightly higher than you and look down on you as you pay for your items. It really puts the whole Harley/customer relationship into perspective.
No doubt... went to 6 Bends this morning. thought I was going to get my head ripped off when I asked if they had a bigger cup to get some water with... Guess I bring my own from now on.
Just an update on Bert's BlackWidow in Port Charlotte. Last year the beer was self serve. Havent been their since the spring, went by to check out the 17's and you can no longer serve yourself. Now the cashiers are also bartender's during the week. They said on the weekends, they have someone working the tapper. Noticed also they now have camera's mounted close to the tappers and the cash registers, they may have been their all along, but I just noticed them. Soooo.......I guess it took about a year for someone to complain. No matter, still a great dealership, with good folks.
was in Leesburg at Gator Harley and they had draft beer up in front by the entrance. When I walked to the service dept. the guy at the counter says" we have better beer back here" and pointed to a refrigerator.
sure was good to have a cold beer after a hot ride

Where's it at in the store front? I've been there a few times and never seen it.
