Our Lauren, Keeping it Classy. But Keeping it Neat!
Hey Crew,
Remember the Clewiston Ride from a few months ago? Funny story...
"Bob" was a guy that was hanging out at Cafe27. He decided to join us for the ride (and lunch) in Clewiston. Maybe he never rode in a group before, maybe he was just bored with our style of riding. But in any case, BOB WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!
Yvonne was farther back in the group, we were both on SENA headsets. The whole way there, she was giving me updates on "Where is Bob?", and "What is he doing now?". He wasn't really doing anything reckless, just going from the back of the group, to the front of the group, riding in his own lane beside the group. It was a bit funny, but more than a bit annoying. When we pulled up to the traffic light in South Bay, Bob had a big smile on his face. He had NO idea that he was about to be taken back to school!
It was a "feel good", "happy ending" story, as Bob took it well, went on to Clewiston with us, and we all had a great lunch. -Steevo-

You did the right thing letting him know what the group expected. If he didn't know how to ride with the group......he does now!!! If he choses to ride with the group again good, if the rules are too restrictive for his style....then he can continue to ride solo.
Their are enough hazards on the road from other things. You don't need riders creating them too.
