Good point about the lyrics and Yes, Lauren. Personally, my thoughts in reference to Badge's lyrics is the same as most from that era, everyone had a buzz. Hell, I have a difficult time remembering any of it.

Lauren, whatever happened with the fence incident?

 

Well he removed all the tapcons from my wall so that's good. Code Enforcement made him apply for a permit, he's supposed to turn the fence around in his back yard so it faces the right way and cement in the posts. He hasn't done that and is now over the allotted time. They called me to update me and said he's now in breach of the permit so I dunno where it's got to now. He's Haitian and doesn't speak much English. I'll call the County when I get a minute next week and see what the story is.

 

@ Lauren, good thing you did call code enforcement. You just never know in this day and age what to expect out of neighbors, definitely have to stand up for your rights.
It's documented now, he'll have to play by the rules which should stay in his mind.

 

So much for my wife's good nature and the get sober for the holidays. I asked her this eve, if the kids are good, the grandkids good, why in the world would I be sober in the festive season? I only get sober when I need to be serious, thought everyone was like tha > *laffs
