Default Destination Daytona question.

I'm going to be over in Orlando for a few days next week and will have a free afternoon. Is Destination Daytona worth the drive over from there or would it just be a waste of gas and time? What say yooz?

It is worth the ride if you have never been there. Rossmeyer's is a beautiful dealership and there are some cool stores, and of course JP cycles is fun to browse.

Its a big place. If you;ve never been there, you hafta go at least once! Bars, hotels, stages, stores, etc....
If you see a bike you like and wanna buy, ask for Mark Klayman and tell him I sent ya. Jerry from Fl Crew.

Week ends are best. Sign up for their news letter.

Sometimes there is a great swap meet, some times the Saints and Sinners Pub has a band.

Being from the area and riding past it all the time, Destination Daytona is nothing special to me. But it survives on tourists and people from out of town, so I guess you should go. The place has so much potential, but to me anyway, it just seems like most of it goes untapped. Most of the store fronts are not used year round, the concert venue is seldom used for anything, and the condos look empty. The gas station is busy, the swap meet mentioned above is pretty good. Ice cream joint is the best place in there, lol J&P Cycles is a cool place. Buy a T-Shirt at the Harley dealer, its what keeps them in business.

I'd go have look, it's the biggest Harley Dealer I've ever been to. If your headed south I'd go have a look at Cafe 27 as well but that's a hike from Daytona.
