Default Sunrise to Sunset run

Meeting up with group tomorrow morning in New Smyrna Beach to watch the sunrise. Then we make our way across the state to Cedar Key to watch the sunset and then hang out at Cedar key for the weekend.
this group has been doing the run for a while. This will be my second year. W e had a great time last year and the weather looks to be perfect.

Anybody else ever done a sunrise to sunset run?

I have tried and tried to do a sunrise to sunset run, but can't seem to get the timing down right. Never been able to see the sunrise in St Pete when I leave, and the sun never seems to set on the Atlantic when I get to Daytona. I must be doing something wrong.

I did a sunrise to sunset when I was in the Keys. Of course, I didn't have to go very far...

you only need to walk down the street 12 hours later, drinking at every bar in between

Would that not be an all night run if you live in St Pete?

What a fun time. We ended up with 36 bikes total. 25 of us rode over on Friday and 10 on Saturday. It was a bit chilly in the morning. We made a few stops on the way including Stumpknockers in Inverness for lunch. The place is pretty cool. I will probably make some more day trips there. 5 of us rode down to Crystal River HD on Saturday (very nice dealership) and had lunch at Cracker's on the water.

It was a great group of folks including my 3 buddies that rode down from Georgia to join us. When they start planning for next year I will post it here in case anyone would like to join us.
