My next Sunday off will be Jan. 15th.

 

Well I.'ve gone threw almost 2 tanks of gas with no problems and she runs great! Have Wednesday off and the 3 other riders that I went with last time want to give it another ride out there. Plan on meeting @ my place of work ( Lowes on Pine Island Rd ) leaving Cape Coral @ 10 am. I'll tell ya, with all the down time, Between lowering the bike with a Burley kit, changing out intakes to discided wth give better performance ,new energy one clutch install, carb rejet and rebuild, going from 2 up seat to a single and taking off the tank and striping the liner and cleaning it, changing fuel line, installing a better light for night time riding, I'm ready for a nice long ( to me ) ride with some good friends, I'll still be planning on going on the 15th but I'm ready now so it's on ! Oh and I do love Cuban coffee! Yea!

Hey Frank, just caught up on these posts. If you are going again Jan 15 keep me up to date. We have northerners coming down to squat with us next week but things should free up by Sunday the 15th. My riding buddy may be interested in going also. Any ladies going or is this a guys only ride?


I spend time almost every day in that Lowe's store. It is about 4 miles from my crib.

 

Stop in and see me, I'm the flooring specialist, frank in the flooring dept, I have Weds. And thurs. Off this week but I'll be in from fri. Till mon.

 

Well I made it ! scoot running great, got 50 + mpg, 2 hr 40 min. Run. Wow that place must rock on weekends. Had a Cuban sand. Fries and Sweet tea , and finished with a Cuban coffee... cheap date... bill and tip that was incl. 13 and change and couldn't finish all of the meal. Got caught in some down pours on the way home but at 70-75 mph dried off pretty quick. Definitely a cool place, will definitely do it more
