In Floral City.
Anybody been there since the new owners reopened it? What was your experience?
I was thinking of checking it out this winter. The place was a real dump when I went there right before the last owners closed it. The place was in need of a ton of work.

 

We rode up there Saturday. Its real nice. The original structure is there but its been completely remodeled. They even planted some grass, not sure how long that will last.

 

Thanks for the response and pics. I'm glad to hear the place has been cleaned up, and is back running. Doesn't look like many people there for a Saturday. I'll take a ride over and check it out when I get to that neck of the woods soon.

 

I drove by Sleepy Hollow yesterday. The place has been repainted outside. There were about 20 bikes in the parking lot. The place definitely looks alot better from the road. When I get the time, I'll stop in and check it out.

 

Overpriced now & the parking lot needs to be paved. Lots of loose gravel. .just be careful going in or out of the lot

 

We rode out to Sleepy Hollow today. The place was packed! Had to be 250 people there easy. Every picnic table was filled. Both the inside and outside bars were filled. Boats full of people were coming and going. They were running out of different kinds of beer and several kinds of booze. It took us an hour to get the nacho's we ordered. A decent band playing, and having a good time. Quite a difference from the time I went there last (right before the last owners closed up).
We'll definitely be back next Sunday!
