Default Head trip helmets

Lots of folks have ask Slowrider and I about our helmets and as far as I knew they had gone out of business. Well apparently they survived the DOT incident last year and they are going strong. So for all that were interested here is their new link, I am glad they are still going because this is the best and most comfortable helmet I have ever owned. So without further ado.......http://www.headtriphelmets.com/universalhelmets.php

I love my HT helmet...been thinking about getting another one, glad to hear they are still in business....one word of warning though, if you go to the shop to pick up your helmet be prepared to get a buzz from the resin vapor.

They should call them "Head-Trip to the Hospital" helmets.

No. Long story about that, You can use the search function on this forum to read all about it. Search for ACC helmets. If you are under the impression that the government knows whats good for you and is the end all authority, then just move on. If you are, on the other hand, in the market for a great helmet check em' out.

what makes it a great helmet?

I have a feeling that you and I look for some very different things in a helmet.

I am not gonna bite cameraboy, if this type of helmet is not your thing then move on. If you are trying to feel superior to me in some way, have at it. I can assure you I don't care and will not worry about it for one second of the day. I posted this as a PSA for my riding buddies that have inquired about the helmet in the past to which I erroneously informed that the company was no longer in business and not to open a discussion on the merits of DOT versus NON-DOT helmet construction. Have a great day.
