what does the model of bike have to do with anything
the comment above was that HD is not KNOWN as a younger persons bike
probably has more to do with Style of Riding and WAY MORE to do with price tag then anything else
sporty, softail, vrod whatever you ride, even a street glide, doesn't really matter the age - but not many 25 year olds out there dropping this kind of coin on an HD bike
it's more of a, I can finally afford one thing - that's why many if not most of us all started on metrics - be it sport bikes, or metric cruisers

Maybe it is now considered an old man's bike (my son's words) because of the "wallet bikers" and obviously you echo that sentiment.

Hey! Until you have ridden with this crew, don't knock it. My two sons 26 and 29 years of age have ridden with this bunch for years. My youngest on a crotch rocket and the oldest on a Sportster. The one on the crotch rocket told me he would rather ride with "The Crew" than other sportbikers. He said "Some of those guys are crazy."

First-off I don't want to offend the younger Guys/Gals on here... But I prefer to ride with the older/experienced/wiser/knowedgeable folks and think it is GREAT that the youngins want to hang-back/together... They need their own space... ;+)

Jay that was funny. Young man, if you want to ride, I mean really ride, just hang these old bastages. I ride with some young riders on another forum, not all of them are crazy, e ride sportbikes though, some young Harley riders in there too but mostly sport bikes. Actually they are mostly into track racing and plain old riding. Send me a PM if you want to hook up ith them, ill put you in touch. (Dont want to post another forum here)

My question is what do you consider south Florida ? Having just moved to Naples I thought I was in the south but am finding at times I am 2 to 4 hours away from the closest ride... Up north I could cross two or more states in that much time. It's almost mind boggling how long it takes to get out of Florida...
