Last year we rode up 27 from Cafe 27. I spent two hours to clean up the mess....with a washing station at the hotel. Take bug cleaner as others have said! We just had some good rains move through central Florida, they should be all hatched and just about the right size in another week.

As with anything else, it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and....well you know the rest. Love Bug juice will mess up a good paint finish if you don't get it off before it gets baked on!

Heads up, we were out today (4/19) in Orlando and Sanford and YEP, the lovebugs are here! Not too bad yet, but they're definitely out.

Maybe I should not have started the thread! Walked outside this morning at the house to be greeted by three of things fluttering by.

There is a new coat of polish on the bike and the spray, rags, and dryer sheets are making the trip.

Sunday afternoon. Just got home. And I just decreased the love bug population by a few. They're not bad yet - but they're here.

Remind me - what does the dryer sheet do?

I'm in Winter Garden, by the way. Not far from Leesburg.

They are lurking, waiting, biding their time until a freshly detailer bike rolls through, when they will fulfill thier suicidal tendencies by flying head first into your sunglasses, screaming Banzai!!!!! in their little squeaky voices
Yeaah, they are a bit like crotch rocket guys. Make a gooey mess that you'll want to wash off pretty quickly

The dryer sheets help to get the suckers off. Just wet it a little and use like a cloth.
