I was headed from the Treasure Coast on the turnpike to Ocala and had a couple hit my windshield. They leave a very distinctive splatter mark.

My wife drove to Bradenton and back today. Lots of love bugs on the front of her car. Not a full blown plastering, but they are definitely out. Make sure to bring cleaning stuff this weekend.

Neighbor who works in Bartow reported hitting them Monday on the way home to Lakeland.
I will be testing out the new Starbrite products in the next few days to see how well it removes them buggers!

Took the Grandson to Disney on Wednesday the 16th and had maybe a few on the front of the Fiver. Headed home on Monday the 21st and not quite plastered but a lot. So they are getting larger in number as the days go by. This was on the Fl Turnpike.

Working in NW Cape Coral today, lots of em. I heard spraying the bike down with wd-40 keeps em from sticking... Any truth to this?

I wipe my fork lowers down with WD40 if the love bugs are heavy, but not the paint. WD40 will strip the wax off.

I heading out to Leesburg from Naples in the morning. I am taking a bottle of some new cleaner I bought, it is called Bug Slime. If the love bugs are out we will certainly give it the test. I have used it to wipe down and shine the bike and it works very nice. Bring them bugs on.

Always carry a can of Plexus. Works like a charm, but it is getting expensive. The Love Bugs are definitely in Ocala.
