Default Leesburg and Lovebugs

Getting ready to head for Leesburg next week and wanted to see if our dear friends the Lovebugs have made their arrival yet. They have been next to non-existent around Fort Myers so far but was just wondering what others have are experiencing.

Im guessing there will be love bugs, they were out last year. Thanks for the reminder to bring some cleaning spray & rags, you don't want to leave them on there all weekend.

None so far in the south sections. I thought the first round starts in June? I have never hit them going to Leesberg. At least not in the last several years. Maybe a few but not a pounding by any stretch.

Sorry to be the bearer of Bad news but I saw my first one of the year yesterday in St Pete on my truck's windshield....Like JerryW says bring rags and cleaner to be safe.
We are headed to Lake City Saturday for the Flat Track races and will advise on LB count if any ????

There were a few on my ride to Sebring a week ago. The rain home washed them all off but on arrival at Sebring there were about 5 or 6 on my windshield.
Good idea to bring bug spray and microfibers for next week.
