Gimme Shelter

Local police came by looking for us to warn us about the storm. He said it was softball sized hail. We had already taken shelter. The good folks at the Shake Shack had told them we were headed north on bikes.

 

I use Weatherbug, it's free. Like Roger said the radar can show rain and the weather can be dry!

 

Tomorrow looks good. Anyone heading to cafe 27?

 

Joe not sure of plans yet, will ride early AM with my regular Sunday group, thoughts of the Tattoo Expo in Coral Springs but don't care if I miss it. Been before a couple times and it's not really my thing. PM me your cell #.

 

Hey Lauren, I saw that was going on as well...not my thing at all either. Would like to catch up again, will pm my cell. I'm thinking noonish but am flexible. I bought a new seat and need to test it so I need a ride.

 

Sick of this rain, got caught in a deluge a mile from home today. Had to pour water out of my boots.

I was out for around 6 hours today and dodged all but a micro sprinkle. but damn it was hot.

Checked weather underground and it had my area at 101 with a 127 heat index.

This has been a messed up summer. I never thought I'd say it, but I'm almost looking forward to winter...well a FL winter.

 

Well first weekend in a long time I was able to run out a tank tooling around town. Big crowd at Cafe 27, several springers and I was able to give some business to Reed the pinstripe/art guy. Didn't realize he did calligraphy so had him give my bike a little ink on its rear.
