How about a ride up to and maybe around Lake Okeechobee Sunday and lunch at the Tiki Bar?

Can meet at Cafe 27 and mount up at 9:00am. We can pick up any stragglers along the way and make it to the Tiki Bar at high noon. Who's in?

I'm on the fence for tomorrow, but leaning towards this ride. Wifey gave me a look when I told her about it. Maybe I should have said we're riding around the lake, looking for yard sales and thrift stores?

 

Let me know if you can make it Steevo. The meet up point can be negotiable if nobody responds, but Cafe 27 is as good a place as any if we can get some members from the southern areas. Weather looks good right now for morning up until late afternoon!

I'll give it a few more hours and will let you know where to meet. Are you riding up with your PB friends? If not and nobody else responds but Steevo....we can change up the starting point up this way.

But if we can get some to join....anyone....Cafe 27 at 9:00 am will be the starting point and we can meet up with you near the lake. I will check back in a couple of hours.

 

sounds good, if it's just me and you then I'll ride up with the others and meet you at the Tiki Hut Roland Martin Marina. Guess around 11.30. If any of the Crew are riding then I don't mind meeting en route in either Wellington or Belle Glade. I'll check back later too.
I rode to La Belle today, weather was fine, hot but no rain.

Rog, I'd expect to be there about noon, the ride from Boca leaving at 9.30, probably stop at least once if not twice to pick up stragglers/gas/pee stops.

It looks like it may just be us, but I will keep checking up until 8 am tomorrow. I'm going to plan on Cafe 27 and leaving there at 9 am as planned since you will be riding up with your friends. That way anyone who decides to join in will have till 9 am to show up. Check back here before you depart tomorrow to see if anybody else joins in then you can decide if you want to meet up at Main and Ave L. I'll post before I head out.
