it's that time of year again to go back to North Carolina, and you all gave me the great suggestion to stay at little Switzerland Inn the last time and that was a beautiful hotel, now I'm asking for your help again.

Nick, I think everybody has had good things to say about the Holiday Motel in Maggie Valley. Mention you are with the Florida Crew and they may let you stay anyway.

We just stayed at the Phillips Motel in Robbinsville, nc. Nice place and nice people

 

There'a a Microtel in Robbinsville. Remember, it's a Microtel and you're in Robbinsville. There's not much, but it's close to all riding and food. By the way, pretty sure it's a dry county.

 

We stayed in Townsend at the Highland Manor Inn, we would go there again.

 

A little pricey but worth it.

 

The San Rafael motel is biker friendly in Robinsville. Also I'll second the Holiday motel Rob and his wife Gabi are riders as well as motel owners who cater to bikers. But you better call them quickly cause they get booked in october.

 

Agree with Holiday... It's not the greatest, but very friendly. Food in restaurant is good. And they put buckets and towels in front of the rooms to clean bikes.

 

Two wheel Inn, Robinsville, every room has a garage for your bike, very reasonable, or just stay at the Deals Gap Resort, also rasonable, but book in advance.

Having been to maggie valley and riding the Dragon, one of the trips up that way led me to
Helen, GA. Great place, plenty to eat, drink and places to stay. Lots of good riding roads in either direction you take off on...two hour ride to the Dragon. I think it is about 50 miles....but two hours to get there (that tells you you have good riding.) Just another idea...Ride the Dragon during the week.....not so crowded (may not have your PICTURE taken though).
