Mickey's Bar and Billiards in Crystal River is a great biker friendly place with events happening all of the time. 44 west just before Hwy 19.

Passed Mickey's a few times. I'll check them out one day.

I like that idea. The wife wanted to go by the old historic mill on Yulee so we can kill two birds with one stone.

Here's a few rides you might like that are a little longer, but on some of the nicest, least crowded roads in Florida.

From Inverness, come straight up 41; Williston, Archer, Newberry to High Springs. Eat at "Great Outdoors" downtown. Take 27 North to Fort White and 47 South to Trenton, and 339 to Bronson....Back to Inverness

Riders choice over to 19/98. North through Chiefland, Old Town, Cross City to 358 to Jena. Cross the bridge to Steinhatchee and eat at "Roys" on the river. Good food great view. When your done, go back across to Jena and ride the "Road to nowhere"...Notorious for landing drug smuggling planes back in the 70's and 80's, and also the location of the "Steinhatchee Seven" bust...Only place I ever busted 100 on a motorcycle...There's NOBODY out there.

And last but not least...This a long day or a nice overnighter. Get over to 19/98 and go North and West and keep going...Chiefland, Perry, and stay West on 98 and Keep going...Panacea, across Ochlocknee Bay, Lanark Village, Carrabelle, Eastpoint, across the bridge to Apalachicola for the best Oysters in Florida. Stay at Gibson Inn downtown with a bar downstairs and walk to everything. If you have time and your wife likes the beach take her out to St George Island. This is my favorite ride and the one I take all my "City" friends from Orlando on...Everybody loves it. Quality two lane roads, almost no traffic, and long stretches of natural scenery and waterfront riding. This area is known as "The Forgotten Coast" for a reason.

Enjoy. Repeat.
