Default Fishtail Pipes

I currently have a set of Vance & Hines Longshots on my softail and I would really like to change them out for a set of fishtail pipes. The problem is I ride two up a lot and the way the left pipe is routed it looks like it would throw a lot of heat at the passengers left foot. Are any of you running duals/fishtails on a softail and if so do you hear any complaints from the passenger?

I have fishtails on my Springer - which Softail do you have. Mine finish behind the bags so wouldn't be an issue, and I don't take passengers. Maybe ask on the Softail forum?

I ride a Heritage Classic. The way the pipe crosses over and around the top of the primary seems like there would be a lot of heat on the passengers left foot. I ride two up almost everywhere so it is important to keep the passenger happy.
