It's been one DAMN hot, wet and long summer. At least the end is in sight and when the LBs are gone, it will be riding season again.

Not too bad yet on the east coast. I drove from south Fl to Amelia Island and back this weekend. Other than a very few around Amelia Island, no love bugs.

Have been there in a car with the love bugs, can't imagine riding in that. Did ride a bike across the old 2 lane Tamiami Trail at night once, and the pile of bug goo in my lap made an audio plop on the ground as I dismounted. Got to Naples and fed the clothes into the first coin laundry I found open all night. Had a women there, looked kinda frightened for a bit, but the underwear was still clean...

Didn't ride long in Florida, decided to bug out early...

We smashed a few coming back from Sebring in the Corvette Saturday. Luckily, it rained and washed them off before we got home. I'm with cHarley....cooler weather isn't too far away and riding season picks up again.

Heading to Captiva this weekend from Clearwater
, should be fun trying to see through the windshield. Guess I'll pack the pledge.

They're out in force here in the St. Augustine / Jacksonville area.
Rain has been keeping them at bay the last few days.

Looking forward to the cooler weather….
