Funny stuff, Larry. As I was reading it I thought of Mickey Mantle and Billy Martin who were notorious party goers and on more than one occasion played hung over.

Yep I remember that. Billy Martin spent some time as a manager in Detroit too :>)

Billy never met an umpire he couldn't argue with. Ah, the good old days of Mickey Lolich, Denny McClain, Al Kaline....

Yep ... and the later boys. My sister sold almost 40 acres to Mark Fyrdrich when he was with the Tigers. Several of the team would show up regularly. Mickey Stanley lived about a mile from her place.
