That's the irony of the whole situation. The Angels are usually known as a partiotic bunch of people.
I didn't fell like it was a relevant part of the article, but Omar hasn't seen his father since 2000, when he decided he didn't want to fight in the Jihad and left his training at 19.
I actually think I'll add that.
