Right side footboard...

 

I grab two or three papertowels; one for the cap, upside down on the pump. the other two for the nozzle. I cup them under the nozzle when I'm putting it in the tank and taking it out. Had one too many times where residual gas in the nozzle wound up all over the tank and I spent way too much time trying to clean it up

 

I take it off and look at the cashier thru the window. Then I throw it thru the glass window at her or him. When I finish pumping I go in and pay and take my cap back. I thought everyone did it this way.

 

I squeeze it between my butt cheeks
