Where do you put your gas cap when fueling up?

Yea, but some of the answers might have changed.
As a HD Forum team-member, I look forward to seeing all the help that is available to those that ask for it!
edit add: Oh, I put the cap on top of a car with the prettiest women.
That way, when I chase em down, I use that as an excuse. It really works, try it fellow team-members.

On top of the gas pump upside down. I don't see how anyone can forget it when it's right beside you, unless you got some nice babes *** on your mind. LOL

Upside down, on top of the pump. I don't know anybody that has left one at the pump, but I know several drivers (my wife included) who have left the caps to their cages at the pumps.

Unless you have a numb butt, it's kinda hard to forget it, if it's sitting upside down on the seat.

Yep seat, make sure you read the 24 pages in the other thread and get back to us if any new revelations between now and then.

I put my gas caps on top of the pump with the threads down to save the chrome tops. After I fill up my tanks I grab a windshield towel and dip it in the water and wipe off the area around my tank that gets a few drips. Then I use the damp towel to wipe off the bottom of the threads on my gas caps and put them back on. This may seem like a lot of trouble but after so many years of doing it this way I do it on autopilot, and I've never rode off without my gas caps.
