How well do snake skin boots hold up in weather?

Snake skin boots will NOT be good for riding ..over time they dry up ,Curl & then the tips of the scales break off.I know you said youdidn't get those & you should be glad you didn't.I've ridden in cowboys boots with leather souls & you will soon find out that your gonna be slipping at some point. To the guy thats' never been thrown off a horse...you must be the luckiest rider alive.I know a lot of cowboys (I used to team rope & my dad had cattle when I was young)& I bet none of them would tell me they've never been thrown, myself included.

I've always wanted to get me a pair of snake skin boots, and I might finally do it.
I wanted to ask if anyone here knows how well the snake skin holds up when used daily on a bike, year-round. How will the scales handle dense downpours or many hours of blistering sun and wind? Does intense heat or cold pose a problem? What kind of life expectancy do you think I would get out of them?
Thanks for any insight! I've been searching around but I haven't found any answers yet.

Don't listen to the others. Snakeskin boots are great. I've never heard of a snake complaining about wet feet.
