Japan, China & Mexico
Order parts to change my fork oil and replace my fuel filter.
Country of origin is stamped on the parts as you all know;
Fuel Filter: Mexico
Seals: Japan
Others parts: China
So, when some make fun of foreign bikes thinking Harley's are American made....think again. I suppose the real question is; what part of our bikes are made in the USA? Based on the OEM parts I have been buying...not much!

Yep. Global sourcing is the way of the world. But get this... Over the holiday weekend a friend showed me a small plastic U.S. flag with "Made in China" printed on it.

Well, over the weekend, I replaced the roller tappets in the bike (preventive maintenance), and they were marked "made in USA" on the box.
But, frankly, it's been this way for years. Harley has sourced its forks and shocks from Showa (Japan) since 1977. Where have you been?

Really OP? You've got to be kidding me, right? I had no idea.
Hold your breath. I'll get to the bottom of this.
Heads will roll.

Is there anything, besides some food stuff, that 100% USA made? Something with multiple parts, that is.
