California Bike runs. Not many good ones left.
Other than the Redwood Run it seems like all the good ones have gone to chit.
Hollister is nothing more than a T-Shirt run anymore and I can't for the life of me think of any old school bike runs still around.
The Sacramento Mile is this weekend but it's hardly a run.
Until earlier this year I hadn't ridden since 2009 (cancer) but now i'm back looking for the old school runs of yesteryear.
Any ideas or dates with good ones coming up?

Ca. sux compared to other states.About 2 yrs ago there was going to be a cycle event @ Bakersfield fairgrounds, It was cancelled 5 days before it was to begin. Just make our own fun ! Trying to get up to Mammoth next week for the blues fest.

Never been to that one. Honestly I tend to stay away from the "Rub runs" just not my cup of tea. I made it to the Redwood run this year and it was badass as usual.
Tons of bikes and women without clothes.

Heading to Mammoth Blues and Brews Festival next weekend. will be my 3rd time there. The one in Reno is good but it's too far from So Ca for a weekend.

Another one I am trying to talk Husband into going to is the Abate run out in Kernville. Looks like a good one to me.
The Fryed Brothers are having their annual gig up North in September. We went to that one the year before last and had a blast! http://www.fryedbrothers.com/tag/anniversary-party/ Here's a pic:
