1-1/2 days to go...schools out for Christmas.

 

2 more days then a week off!

 

Morning posers, the plan as it stands is to work Mon-Tues then not come back till the 2nd. We'll see.Merry Christmas to all in case your not back on here for awhile.

 

Night Shift Blows. I like riding nights the best. Whatever, Its winter in Colorado???

 

I used to like nights, peaceful out there in the early am hours, but there's too many suicidal deer up here in the north country to feel comfortable at speed. Even without headlight glare, you get little to no warning when the trees are only a few feet from the road, and those are the most fun roads. Used to live in Arizona, great night riding, get out on flat desert roads, get into triple digits and it felt like you were riding a jet. Plenty of wildlife there, too, but it seemed less suicidal, always running away the few times I saw any near the road.

 

Yeah, I know. But there aint no bosses around and we kinda do whatever we want.

 

Loved second shift......no white hats and you could burn one, well in the 70's you could
winter time by the missile tubes drinking peach brandy
