What a great story on that 1911. Whoever carved those grips did a pretty good job.

The finger holds are carved in, kind of hard to tell from that pic, someone took some time making them. From what my uncle told me the enlisted guys did them for the officers, in my family tree we have a lot of veterans over many generations which probably had a factor in my participation in the military.

Don't forget that you put your air caps on the ENGINE GUARD, since most of the asshats here keep calling it a crash bar, and NO biker ever says "CRASH" in a conversation (yea, I woke up cranky, so what!).

Good question!

You should probably pull the trigger on mobil one synthetic.

To avoid being seen as a "poseur", you definitely need to wave at everything with wheels, ALWAYS wear ASSLESS chaps (not assfull) with your fingerless gloves and SOA vest, don't forget your doorag and NEVER, EVER admit you don't remember where you put your gas cap.

That should cement your "biker" status.
