Default Riding through GA to Fl looking for a nice route

I am riding from Maine, to Florida this summer and am planning my route by members suggestions. I have gotten all the way down to the GA boarder. The NC guys have me taking the Blue Ridge most of the way through and ending me at the tail of the dragon over on the NC/TN boarder.

Now it is your turn GA. I will be over on the N/W boarder, give me some nice routes through GA (or even eastern Alabama) to get me to the boarder. I am looking to take 19 down the west coast of FL so something around Tallahassee will work.

Also if you have any cool sights or places to stop mid way through the state for lunch, that would be great.

Even though you're gonna end up in that corner of the state, its not too far over to the Ellijay/Suches/Dahlonega/Helen areas in n.eastern Ga. FANTASTIC riding!!! As far as when you get to Fl, you're gonna be underwhelmed with the scenery/ congestion and such. If you're near Hommossassa, look up "The Freezer" for some dynamite shrimp. Cash only btw!!!

You can P/U 27 South in Chattanooga Tenn and take it down thru west Georiga take it all the way to Miami ..... As mentioned above the farther south you go the road gets flatter. Anything south of I-4 is pretty much Ho Hum after coming down the Blue Ridge (but it beats 75 or 95 with the cagers) and 27 in west Georiga (55mph) is great all the way down thru Tallahassee .... I would recommend stopping in Perry Fla @ Pounceys for breakfast 👍

Never knew 27 was so highly recommended. I live about a mile off of it.

I have done 441 NC to FL. Much of it is 4 lane divided through rolling foothills. Great ride.
