Thinking about heading up to angel city in a few weeks and just wondering what could be expected. Don't personally know anybody who has been, so wondering if you could offer any first hand accounts?

 

I had a good time at the fall rally. You can get into anything you want. It was fun in the city part, stage music etc....
Do not leave the grounds at night if you have been drinking!
Are you planning on bringing a camper, tent camping?

 

The wife and I are heading down Thursday the 10th after work with our toy hauler ... space already reserved. This will be our first Angel City experience, but we have had great times at Thunder on the Rock and the June Bug rallies. Since we picked up the toy hauler last year, we plan to do most of the southeast rallies this year and hope to get out to Sturgis next year.

I cannot speak about Angel City specifically, but, with rallies in general, just be cool, enjoy the sites, be open minded, leave any attitudes at the gate and don't bring your better half unless she is open minded ... then you will have a good time!

Did you make it to Angel City? How was the spring rally?

 

We made it .... definitely the lowest keyed rally we have been to, but good bands and everyone was super nice including the staff.
