My father was born in Ringgold, GA in 1928. In the summer of 2022, I visited there and Soddy-Daisy, TN. where he spent a year in HS before joining the Merchant Marines during WWII...at the age of 15. He's been gone for 10 years now...

As far off the beaten track as it is now, it surely would have been back then...
