Default PGR Mission vest question

I'm looking to pick out a standard vest in order to sow the appropriate patches as well as some personally important patches into for missions. My question I want to ask the community here as a whole, does one kind of material seem to last better than others or is it sort of a null factor when picking one out?

From discussions, denim ("blue jean like") doesn't last as well, but are different styled leather vests better or worse to use for mission vests with me not worried about ride safety? Would just be using it for the actual missions and not for commuting.

Appreciate it.

I got my PGR vest from Leather-up. They carry a good quality leather vest without spending an arm & leg for. I think I gave around $60 for one that is heavier leather than Harley vests. Zipper & velcro straps on the sides.
They also have denim vests if that is what you are looking for. $14.95 to $99 depending what ya need.

Club Vest has a big selection at good prices:

I went with this one:

If you plan on a large patch on the back look for vests designed for that ( single panel back). These are not going to be as good as Fox Creek or similar but for the money, real nice.

Sorry for the late reply but since you live close to Tacoma, Wa, they have Eagle Leather. This is the one I bought a couple years ago: http://www.eagleleather.com/No-Colla...nt-Vest-47263/

They also will mail it to you if you know your size. The vest I bought is very good quality with CC pockets on both interior sides...

I have both the Harley leather and Harley denim vests. Have patches and pins on both.
I use both.
In the summer, standing with flags, the denim vest is cooler than heavy leather.
