Default First Mission

Last week, I finally joined the ranks of the Patriot Guard Riders. I mentioned it to my son who also joined. This past Saturday was our first mission. It was an honor to stand a flag line for a fallen Deputy Sheriff in a nearby county.

Thank you for your support! I just did a mission this morning. You will get more from doing missions than you can possibly give. It is very moving every single time and really makes you thankful for being a part of this great country.

Thanks for the kind words. I haven't been able to break loose with my work / travel schedule to hit another one. Hopefully I will soon. Very worthwhile.

Thanks to you as well!!!!

Here lately there have been a lot of missions. Some multiple on the same day. Seems like I can go on a few and have buku time and then I can't make any that come up.

Thanks for joining! I consider it an honor to show this kind of respect to those who have given so much to our country. It's also a great way to show bikers in a positive light, while spending time with great people for a great cause.

I rode on Friday, I had been in the hospital Mon-Wed, against doctors orders. We rode to the new Veterans cemetery at Fort Ord to inter the ashes of a man who served 30 years in the Navy, was an integral part of getting this cemetery established, and was a well known, well loved, well respected member of our community. So I rode, and I didn't drop dead on the ride, and was able to have those moments to show my respect to the family.

Joined a while ago but work still keeps me from any missions. I will be riding with them this Saturday to the local Wreaths Across America .
