Default Flying the flag

Got a question to those who serve with the PATRIOT GUARD< or maybe belong to a group that FLYS OUR AMERICAN FLAG<( or patriot guard, group flag) 3x5 flag, HOW have you mounted it on your bike??? I have the smaller flags mounted,, but racking my brain to comeup with a simple home made way to FLY at speed, A 3x5 flag. If it helps i ride a ROAD GLIDE, without saddlebag bars. Thank in advance.

Do you have any space between the fender and saddlebag? I have a piece of 1" pvc about 18" painted black. One end of the pipe is cross cut so that it rest on the the saddlebag support. The top of the pipe lays right along side the tp detach post and gets zip tied to that docking point. Slide the flag post in and pin it. I've gone as fast as 55 with no problems.

BDP, great idea, i'd been thinking of useing pvc pipe as a holder. im just not clever enough to know where to mount it safley, the saddlebag support for the bottom is perfect, TKS so much. Aint easy being all thumbs LOL

The 1" pvc was off of a 10' joint that had the built in coupler. The coupler end is at the bottom.

I suspect he means without the guard bars around the saddlebags.
