Just took delivery of my 2017 CVO Street Glide. Traded in my 2014 CVO Breakout after three years of customizing it to my likes. Now I have to start over. Looking at installing 14" Factory 47 Assault Ape Hangers as a winter project. I am looking at V&H Power Dual Headers and the 4.5" Oversized Destroyer mufflers once they are available. After that, I will ride it for a while before I decide to do any other upgrades. If anyone has any recommendations let me know.
Im in the exact same boat. I wish I could have kept my 16 But I wanted to pay cash for the new one . I had the 110 engine kit .V&H x pipes with hi outputs had a se tuner . I managed to get all my money back out of it except $2500 . I feel that this 17 CVO was a good choice . I know ill keep it a good long time
I have the 14" bars that I was gonna use on the 16 so they will prob be going on it at some point and now its trying to get pipes and slipons that I like . I want to hear them before I order anything .
Thanks Bud, appreciate it! I really like the blacked out look, but think I'm gonna change the base color on the tins this spring and keep all of the black accessories for contrast. That black paint job was my first ever paint job, did it in my home garage 2 years ago. Gonna try some pearl and graphics this time for the second go round.
