Im am looking at different touring fenders to put on my slim. I need a 7 inch fender but cant find what years of touring models came with 7inch. Im pretty sure that 08 street glides came with 7 inch but not sure. I would greatly appreciate the input.

 

I think you will find that rear fender width remained unchanged right up until the '09s were introduced, with their new frame. The newer fenders are much wider and will not fit earlier frames without major surgery. I have only read of one member who has done that. Wider fenders may have been introduced earlier than that on other model ranges. I got fooled into buying an '08 touring fender, thinking it would be wider, but I can assure you it is the same width as my stock 1990 bike!
