Default clutch cover o-ring

hey was hoping someone can help took off clutch cover on street glide adjust clutch and went to put back the rubber o-ring on the cover and its seems to be to big and i cant get to stay in the groove seems like a half inch to big keeps coming out and ideas on how to get to back on?Thx

Get the paper/silicone gasket.

try cleaning off excess oil from the groove and o-ring.

you'll need a new one - when you take the clutch cover off (do not removing the o-ring from the cover)and it can be reused - if you remove the o-ring from the cover you'll never get to fit back in the cover groove unless it a new one

stuck in freezer and fit no problem
