I'm 6'3" and 270#.

I tried the Mustang Vintage Super Solo and it seemed too soft. Now I have a C&C Wide Solo with gel in it. Much harder, so I don't sink into it. Very comfy.

Both those seats had backrests which made a HUGE difference in comfort.

You guys make me feel petite! I'm 6'2" and "only" about 220(ish) but I really like my H-D Tallboy. It moves me back about 2". I've ridden it about 34,000 miles since I put the seat on and find it to be really comfortable. (I did ultimately get some bars with more pullback as a result of the new seating position.)

One warning though--because the rear seat attachment point is fixed, to give you the extra 2 inches means it takes those inches away from your passenger. My wife actually IS petite, so that wasn't an issue for her, but if your situation is different (was that tactful enough?) and you ride 2-up, you may need to consider that.

My brother, and nephew just got HD tallboys and love them, they just rode a 500 mi. weekend and both are happy. i just sent a Ultimate seat, mid rider back, Long ride saturday, was terrible, called ultimate today, told me i can send back, and they would check to see if it was faulty foam, or i could just return it, i like the seat, and the position, but felt like sitting on seat pan after a while, good luck, i would go to dealer and try the Tallboy out

6-1, 350. They Mustang seat and stock seat I had was too soft and my tail bone hit the plastic seat pan.

For me it is Corbin all the way. Moves you back and down a bit and is firm to support all our weight. Love it!

I also have a Corbin classic solo. It looks better than my Russell day long seat but it is only comfortable for up to 2 hrs for me. My wife hated the pillion seat from Corbin

You might look into having a seat custom made for you. Have a buddy that is about your size and went to Rich's Custom Seats (Seattle area) and has had 2 seats made for 2 different bikes and is very happy. I know that Rich's is not close to you but there may be other options closer.

I wish I would have kept that C&C, sold it to you and bought a Mustang Vintage Super Solo for the Road King Classic and it was awesome for about an hour then my *** went numb because it was too soft. That was worse than before!

The C&C was the better than stock but still not my answer like the OP I'm still searching.

I am 6'3" 230 I had mine done by Mean City. They moved me down on 1" because I like setting in the Bike not on top of it and back 1 1/2 " or so. I also got the Double memory foam option what a different. I am 63 year old and like most old men I have a bad case of the gone A#$.I enjoy long distance touring the memory foam works great for me and the extra room is great also. Give Mean city a call and check out their web site before you send big bucks on a new seat good luck on your decision.
