Here comes another seat question, but I need some advice. My wife and I just finished a 600 mile ride, and my *** HURTS. I own a 2007 Ultra Classic with the stock seat. Here is my problem, my size, I am 6'3" and 290lbs. Every seat review I have read talks about moving the rider UP and FOWARD, not something I need.
So you bigger touring riders out there, what are you using?

 

Both my 2005 RK and my 2007 Ultra got the front and rear seat replaced by The Ultimate. In your case the model you want to get is The Ultimate Tall Boy seat. You will not buy a better seat, PERIOD!

I am 6'4" and 320 on a good day, lol, so similiar in size. I read ALOT of reviews and checked the bank acct. I ended up with the Mustang super touring seat with back rest. It made a huge difference from the stock seat and both me and the ol' lady are happy.

 

I'm 6'3 and 300. I liked my Road zeplin and this is my second one. The only thing I didn't like was it felt like it pushed me forward a bit. I recently switched to a hammock. So far so good but I haven't been on any really long rides with it yet.

 

the cop air seat moved me up and back and it is a lot wider than the stock seat. most comfortable seat harley makes. have a mustang pillion seat too.

 

i like the Mustang touring seats, sets you back about 2" and is pretty comfortable! i chose one with a backrest and that helps out a bunch for me.

 

I tried the Tallboy for a weekend (love that HD offers that option) and was pretty happy with it, so I bought one. Moves me back a couple inches and down a hair, I really like the position now, I felt like I was sitting on the gas tank with the stock seat on my '13 Limited. Good price too, especially with the 11% mvp discount at the dealer.

Oh yeah, 6'2", and, um over 300. Need to work on that...

 

I have read some pretty negative reviews on the Tall Boy Ultimate seats. A lot of people returning them because of the seating position.
I'm going to swing by harley tomorrow and check out the Tall Boy and Hammock.
