Default LED Tail lamp for 2014 FLHTK

Hello,

I am thinking of fitting accessory LED tail-lamp part # 68085-08 (red lense - chrome bezel) to my 2014 FLHTK.
Anyone out there who has fitted this item have any opinion on it - good or bad?

I went with this one:

Bright as hell, and matches the tourpak lights very well.

I don't have any experience with the B&S light...

I just added this taillight and new rear fender tip brake light. The tail light doesn't seem as bright as the tour pack LEDs. Can you post a pic of yours just on running lights please? Here is mine.

Looks bright to me... the pic was taken much closer to the tp.

lower the camera and level it off, back up 10 yards and zoom.

I'll see if I have a pic.... but I'm at work.

Thanks, and you're right. I just went out and looked again. If you stand too close the angle is wrong. Back up and there are brighter. I'll try and get a pic when I put the brakes on. Man my Azz end Is lit up now. HaHa.

Take a pic in the dark from 10 yards back, camera about 20 inches above the ground.

I don't know what the previous owner used for LED lighting out back on mine, but the brake lights flash then go solid, the turn signals double as brake lights, and when I hit the brake in the dark you can see my bike from the International Space Station.

I was able to transfer my BAL 1 from my old bike to my new one, tour pack lights have nothing on that, hehehe. For all of you that are wondering if it will work, I posted a thread a couple of weeks ago. You have to run the light ( on the older models made before 2012) on mode 4,5 or 6 and it will not throw codes. All the lights made after mid 2012 are compatable with our new bikes. Do a search for BAL on a 2014 limited and I posted the email response from BAL for those out there that might wanna try this. Didn't mean to highjack your thread OP, just giving you another option.
