Great Idea! But...
I just got the front tire replaced with new front brake pads about 2 months ago.
But you think like I do!

 

I do my own inspections not shucking any parts here!

Yep, sure is. Price may vary from dealer to stealer...

 

Everyone gets on my case because I try to keep my S.G. clean all the time. I think it helps with noticing anything out of place. Had the bike up on the jack cleaning the front wheel and saw hairline cracks on the sidewall of the tire. Only have 4,000 miles on it and bike was still under warrenty so I took it to the dealer and they replaced it at no cost. Many good dealers out there.

No substitute for putting a good eye on it. When I wash and wax my ride, I am wiping, checking, and pulling on stuff all over my bike.
It is an ongoing thing for some of us, I see.

 

Very handy to have a table lift....

I park on it, so its simple to use it when cleaning, gets everything up to eye level

 

How much is the tire and wheel pkg? For what period of time?

 

They are making money on the tire package. That should tell you the odds of you really needing it. Just my $.02 on the extended warranty and tire deals.
