Default Security code for 2010 FHLX

Traded in my '10 SG a month ago. They have since sold it. Got a call today from the sales guy at the Harley dealership saying it was really important that I called. It seems the buyer wanted to know my security code for the alarm and apparently the sales man didn't know how to retrieve the information. Correct me if I'm wrong but on the '10's it shows up in the odometer window if you have your key fob present and press the left blinker after turning your ignition on and off a couple of times (it's a little more involved, I know but someone at the dealership would have known). Would think he would have known that. He seemed kind of surprised.

He's a salesman, be happy he was able to find his way to work this morning.

You are correct. If they have a working FOB, they can view the current code, and then change it to something else if they want.

But it does require a current working FOB.

Perhaps the new owner lost the FOB?

Also, if the original owners manual went with the bike, it was written in there or should of been.
