Primary whine *Video*
I started hearing this whine a while back and it's been getting louder. It seems to have reached its loudest now, akin to a blower on a drag car. My pipes are LOUD if that's any indication of the volume of the noise in the video.
Has anyone heard this before? I had a Hayden M6 BT-07 tensioner professionally installed about 3,000 miles ago. I called Hayden and they said their tensioner won't make that noise when correctly installed, except maybe for the first few hundred miles.
I wonder if this could be a bearing? Synthetic oil in all three holes.

I installed the Hayden tensioner from mostly good reviews but after install the chain was way too tight. The initial whine went away, my compensator took a crap and my primary has made more noise than it ever has. Hayden says the tension on the chain is fine, I say bull cause my stock chain tensioner never got this tight. I'm waiting on the new comp to come in to investigate what's going on in there

I HAD a Hayden installed on my 2013 RGU. Everything was good for about 4,800 miles. There was a very minor whine and over the miles the slight whine turned into a howl that just got louder and louder. I just pulled the unit out. The shoe was grooved by the chain links and the rollers started to wear into the shoe and the rollers started to remove the material off the shoe. I have two Dynas with this type of adjuster and they have performed flawlessly over the years. I reinstalled the stock unit and the bike sounds real nice now. Take a look in the primary, I bet your wearing deep into the shoe.
