Default rear fender install

I have a 2010 Street Glide. I removed the rear fender without a problem. Swapped out nuts to new Yaffe fender. For some reason i cant get the fender to go back in between the frame. Do i have to remove my rear wheel to get it in?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Not sure what the issue is but there should be no reason to remove the tire.

Or you could share your experience so others could learn in case they have a similar issue.

Had to remove the two from mounting nuts when I installed the fender back into the frame. Once I had the fender back into the frame I reinstalled the front two nuts. Piece of cake.

That works....I left mine on and actually angled the rear fender a little and dropped in one side of fender with mounting nut and then angled in down and in for the other side to drop in.

Glad u got it

I tried it that way, but it just would not go. Didn't wanna chance cracking the fender.
