Default Where to get Chrome Removed in MI

I have a set of S&S Powertune headpipes and am looking to get the chrome removed from them to have Jet Hot ceramic coat them. Anybody in MI know of a place that removes chrome? Tried Fini in Warren, but as soon as I said "used", they wouldn't touch them. Hell, if there's a place that can do both (remove chrome and ceramic coat), that'd be good too.

You should be able to get your chrome removed by any shop that can sand blast.

Try Joe at Heavy Metal in Grand Rapids. I'm certain they do it, but if not he can guide you in the right direction. They do awesome work!

*UPDATE*

Had them done in high temp silver and they're looking great! I wanted to thank you again for the resource! The guy at Custom Concepts was easy to deal with, knew what I wanted to do, and was very reasonable in pricing. He coated them inside and out (not just a cosmetic) and even got a couple hardware pieces. Can't wait to throw these on for next season!

I thought the easiest way to get chrome removed in Michigan was to just park it and walk away for a few hours.

I lived in Northern Michigan for a lot of years....

You only missed one part....

Ride it ONCE in the winter, then park it for a few hours, It's like chrome vanish.
