Default Helmet storage

Need to come up with way to hang helmets on wall when not riding. Don't want to set them on a shelf and don't want to hang from strap. Thinking about using steel rod, PVC or copper. I'm thinking anchor to wall come out 6" and turn up 6" and then use something for a cap (plastic ball or something smooth that won't damage the liner). I know my description of what's in my thoughts isn't very good. Any ideas or pictures of what you are using.
Forgot to mention I am using half helmet.

We hang ours by the chin bars on garden hose hangers from HF (cut in half) so one hose hanger will hang 2 helmets.

A buddy has something similar to this. Got everything at a Home Depot.

Have you considered the appropriate sized pumpkin?
And yes, put a face on it too.
Just for the season, impress your sweetie with one too!

I have a wardrobe at the front of my garage. I hang my jackets and riding gear on one side, top shelf for helmets and gloves, store my manuals, small bags, and other odds and ends on a couple shelves on the other side. Got this from Home Depot as a put together kit. It does take some space, but all my gear is in this, and with the doors closed, it does tend to make things look a little nicer.... in my messy garage!

I would have to find an odd shape pumpkin.

I was gonna do something like that but I spend too much time making sure my valve stems are exactly on the bottom and my speedometer only has even numbers when I park.
