Default Cobalt blue vs Dark cobalt blue?

Ok so my bike is a 06 and it's "Dark Cobalt Blue" but there are a set of ebay lowers painted already but they are Cobalt blue. I'm guessing it will not match the bike that good? Any thoughts?

My guess is it won't match. I used to have the exact same bike as you, until I converted it. Had to buy more paint for the fairing, it's called deep cobalt blue pearl. I'm pretty sure the cobalt blue is lighter and has different flake in it.

colormania list:
cobalt blue as a 2007 year color - #98609ZA
deep cobalt as a 2006 year color - #98609BXT

So I imaging they are 2 different colors and wont match.

My first HD was a 97 Heritage Classic. I don't know what color they called it, but I wish my 08 was the same color. It was a cobalt blue, and had gold metal flake in it with gold pin stripe. I haven't seen a blue I like as much as I liked that one! If I ever paint my black one, I like it to be that color!

Yeah deep not dark my bad, i'll just go with the black and have my buddy paint them. Didn't think it would match but that's what this forum is for On a second note how do you like the ebay lowers?

They are great, I have had no issues. One thing I did right out do the box was add rubber washers to the vent pivot bolt. That seemed to be the biggest complaint (wind would blow them open while riding) when I did my research. The rubber washers is the cure posted on the forum.
