I was riding last night and the bike started to run really rough I lost the speedometer and in the bike shutdown would not start and the four ways cam on and would not go out so I had it towed home went out this morning the bike wouldn't start pulled The ecm relay in the bike and it started ran really rough when I put the relay back in the bike shuts right off any help would be appreciated

dude it's hard to understand what you are asking.

 

Sounds as if your saying your speedo quit working,then engine shut off and would not restart and your 4-way flashers came on & would not shut off.You need to have a service manual to determine what relay you pulled.I doubt if it was a ECM relay the bike would run without it,but who knows.

First things first.


Check your battery cables to make sure they're clean and tight.


Next, check your battery to make sure it's fully charged.


Have someone with a voltmeter verify that your charging system is working properly.


Loose battery cables and a weak battery can cause you a lot of headaches and makes troubleshooting very difficult.

 

Check the Ignition/Tuner/ECM/Fuel Injection forum section. There's a couple of stickys that should help with your diagnostics.
You should also pick up a manual.

 

Sorry for the confusion

I started yesterday by turning the key on and off with a full battery I here a clicking it was a relay now the fuel pump is not running ican not here the pum when I trun the key on all I hereis clicking so I pull the relay for the fuel pump still here the clicking put that back in pull the relay for the ecm trun the key fuel pump starts pumping bike starts runs like s_it so I think easy fixs go and buy a relay put the relay in trun the key no fuel pump take out the relay trun the key bike starts running bad so I try to put the relay in while the bike is running and when I do it shuts down
