SE Street Cannons have a deep low rumble and are not very loud at all.

If I've typed it once, I bet I've typed it 20 times...

The FIRST thing a man should do when considering making changes is GET A TUNER. It will help a stock bike, and when you change pipes and or air cleaner, you're ready for it.

Changing the air flow without changing the VE tables is not beneficial. These bikes run lean from the factory, adding a more free flowing exhaust makes them run more lean.

Can you change mufflers and run without a tuner? Yes.

Will you blow your engine up if you change mufflers and run without a tuner? Probably not.

Can you expect to get 50,000 miles out of your engine if you change mufflers and run without a tuner? Most likely.

Will it run correctly without a tuner? NO.

Do what you want, I won't criticize, just trying to offer things to think about.

...but there is a reason I won't buy a used bike as my primary ride...

Here is an example of what you may experience without a tuner or fuel management of some sort . ...

Met this guy at the dealer

2015 FLHTK, 3000 miles. SE Street Cannons installed at delivery.

His reply was "I just had them do the service, they didn't say anything..."

I've never thrown a code due to a tuner.

That would work.

I would recommend a flash tuner. Either PV2, TTS or FP3.

I prefer the PV2 because you don't have to plug in your computer for data runs (TTS) or use your smart phone (FP3).

BUT that's just me.
